Letter to Parents from Elementary Principals

Starting Monday, March 30, Trinity Area will begin instruction online via Google Classroom. All instruction will be delivered online until further notice, and students should expect to receive assignments from teachers beginning on March 30.

Access to Teachers

All Trinity teachers will maintain virtual office hours where they can be reached for replies to questions via e-mail. Most elementary teachers will be available from 9 to 11 AM and 1 to 3 PM; however, individual teacher hours may vary. Teachers will communicate the best ways and times to reach them. Device & Internet Access

Please remember that all instruction is asynchronous, meaning that you do not have to be logged onto the system at a specific time to receive instruction. Instruction can be completed at your convenience, allowing you to share devices among multiple family members throughout the course of the day.

For families without reliable internet services, please see the following options for accessing internet services while completing online work:


    • Are available to anyone who needs them for free during the COVID-19 national emergency, including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers.

    • Please visit wifi.xfinity.com to locate nearby hotspots.

  • Even while closed, all public libraries' Wi-Fi signals remain on and working to access within limited range of the outside of the building.

  • All Trinity Area School District facilities

    • Have Wi-Fi that syncs with TASD-owned Devices.

    • These signals are accessible from limited range outside of the building. 

    • Please note that personal devices will not connect to the TASD network.

  • AT&T Wireless

    • Will waive domestic wireless plan overage charges for data, voice or text for residential or small business wireless customers incurred because of economic hardship related to the coronavirus pandemic.

    • Customers experiencing hardship can go online to att.com to chat with a rep to request relief,

    • This is in effect from 3/13–5/13/20.

  • Boost Mobile

    • Customers currently on an unlimited data plan will automatically receive an additional 20 Gigs of mobile hotspot on their plans at no extra cost through April 30, 2020.

    • Customers currently on a capped data plan (including WiFi Hotspot plans) with Boost Mobile, will automatically receive an additional 20 Gigs of data on their plans at no extra cost through April 30, 2020.

  • Sprint Wireless 

    • Customers on metered data (not Unlimited) plans will receive Unlimited data for 60 days (or a minimum of 2 bill cycles).

    • Sprint will provide an additional 20 GB Mobile Hotspot per month per line for customers that already have Mobile Hotspot in their plan for 60 days (or a minimum of 2 bill cycles). 

    • Sprint will also provide 20 GB Mobile Hotspot per month per line to any customer that has a capable handset and does not have Mobile Hotspot today for 60 days (or a minimum of 2 bill cycles).

  • T-Mobile

    • Unlimited data through May 13, 2020.

    • T-Mobile postpaid and Metro customers on plans with HotSpot data can add 20GB (10 GB / month for two months) of Smartphone Mobile HotSpot at no extra charge. (excludes Prepaid T-Mobile Connect). 

    • Must have been a customer prior to 3/13/20.

  • Verizon Wireless

    • Adding 15 GB of data across nearly all of our plans, to be used between 03/25/2020 and 04/30/2020. To be eligible, you must be on a qualifying postpaid (unlimited or shared), Jetpack or prepaid plan. 

    • For Unlimited Data Plans

      • 15 GB of 4G LTE data will be added to your plan’s existing Mobile Hotspot allotment.

        • Eligible plans include: The Verizon Plan Unlimited, Go/Beyond/Above Unlimited Plans, Start/Play More/Do More/Get More Unlimited Plans.

      • For Shared Data Plans, 15 GB of 4G LTE shared data will be added (can be used for Mobile Hotspot, or any other connected device using the shared data plan) 

        • Eligible plans include: More Everything Plans, Verizon Plans 1.0 and 2.0 (e.g., S, M, L, XL, XXL), Just Kids

      • For Jetpack - Unlimited or Metered Plans

        • 15 GB of 4G LTE data will be added

      • For Prepaid

        • All monthly plans with a data allowance: 15 GB of 4G LTE data will be added to monthly metered Smartphone (can be used for Mobile Hotspot), Jetpack and Tablet device plans

  • Federal Lifeline Program is a Federal Universal Service that can help to lower the monthly cost of phone or internet for low-income households. Eligible customers can receive up to $9.25 toward their bill. More info at: https://www.lifelinesupport.org/
